nashville got hit by the worst rainstorm it's had in 60 years the day before we got there. our friends and hosts david and lauren vandervelde were in pretty good spirits by the time we rolled in considering they'd spent the previous two days cleaning rainwater and mud out of their basement.
apparently only white suv's were allowed to be abandoned on the flooded downtown streets...
Poor boys and pilgrims with families, and we are going to Graceland. Hope your travelling companions are more than ghosts and empty sockets.
